The Job
We are seeking a results-oriented leader to become the STI Regional President. This position contributes to the success of Hartwig by leading the development of team members towards achieving goals, profitability and long-term viability by identifying and utilizing our entire company's resources, knowledge and experience.
Main responsibilities:
- Build and promote the Company culture including communicating the vision and living the values
- Oversee day-to-day operations including issue management, safety, security and operational and commercial issues
- Manage alliances with stakeholders to include internal and external customers, peers, team members, vendors and community
- Assist with team growth and development functions which include coaching, mentoring, training, and the development of goals
- Lead sales, applications, service, and office team members within a geographic territory in achieving objectives
- Responsible for the sales performance of the team which includes strategies, sales assistance, order review, CRM utilization, oversight of database hygiene management, pricing negotiations and marketing
- Achieve bookings forecast
- Achieve market share target
- Tracks to vendor quotas
- Responsible for the financial performance of the team which includes financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, inventory control, collections, fixed asset management and expense management
- Achieves metrics as identified by company leadership, examples below:
- Achieves agreed upon return on gross profit
- Achieves DSO and other AR related objectives
- Monitors the % of service costs covered by billable revenue
- Establishes and achieves a target for number of PMs performed
- Further personal growth which includes training, classes, reading and keeping current with best industry practices
- Manage regional expenses and projects within approved budget
The Skills
Individuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years sales experience
- Minimum of five (5) years management experience
- Proficient use of general business software and Microsoft suite of products
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, such as collaboration, listening, respect and work ethic, which lead to lasting and trusting relationships with team members and customers
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment using sound judgement and ability to identify and address workplace issues
