Hartwig, one of the nation's leading CNC machine tool distributors has an opportunity available for a motivated and qualified Sales Coordinator in our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. This position primarily supports our team of Sales Engineers in accurately processing the procurement of CNC machines and accessory projects.

A day in the life of a Sales Coordinator:

  • Specializes in creating accurate orders and documentation for machine and accessory projects
  • Effectively communicates with sales team, vendors and customers in all aspects of the machine order process
  • Responsible for preparation of invoices and investigates and adjusts as needed
  • Cross trains with team preparing down payments, commissions, machine and accessory invoices
  • Master our various computer systems and learn to generate and utilize reports, tools and other resources to efficiently and effectively process orders, support sales and maintain customer relationships.
  • Generates month end reports, reviews and balances accounts as needed
  • Prepares and facilitates timely state UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) Letters/Documentation/Files

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred
  • A minimum of 2-3 year's experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Passionate about helping people and building a team environment
  • Previous experience utilizing CRM and accounting software required
  • Strong organizational and communications skills with ability to adapt and be flexible with changing priorities
  • Attentive to detail and strong numerical ability
  • Desire to take initiative and problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
